So, the powers that be in China have set down a whole bunch of new rules on how website can report news. It amazes me, how, in this day and age, a government can get away with this kind of thing: disseminating propoganda in order to control the masses. The rest of the world simply stares in disbelief (except Americans who don’t know about anything outside of their continent) and is frozen on the spot as they fail to comprend the sheer audacity of the Chinese Govt.

This is the bit that makes my hair stand on end:

[internet news sites] must be directed toward serving the people and socialism and insist on correct guidance of public opinion for maintaining national and public interests.
