So, it’s been a while since I last posted anything on this site. I’ve toyed with the idea of creating a new site, just for my photographs and this random shit that I post here. I don’t know if anyone reads this stuff and I don’t care. I just enjoy writing it. On here, I can pretend I have a rapier like wit, an ego the size of the Isle of Wight, a brain like Stephen Fry and a cock like Marky Mark in that film about big cocks and roller skating porn stars - Dirk Diggler.

So, I guess the biggest news I have is about being given the boot by Monitor Media. I could go into it, but I think I’ll save the for another post. It’s a long winded story and best told with a mug of cocoa and box of tissues. It is safe to say, however, that I got shafted, with a rather large stick, right up the poo tunnel. Still, I’m not burning any bridges, I’ll wait until they’ve forgotten about me, then burn the bridge, the fort and the fucking castle all in one. Bitter? Moi?

I’ve started contracting now, it’s much better, I earn twice as much, have 3 times the responsibility and I am actually LEARNING stuff. I was amazed at just how little I was learning at Monitor Media, doing the same old shite, I have only really realised this since I left. My skillz as a l33t php c0d3r have improved 4-fold in the 3 or 4 months I’ve not been there.

I try and go it alone, but I don’t have the contacts, or the marketing sense really to make a go of it. All of my work is done on referrals, so if no-one refers me, I don’t get any work! You can see this here: MonkeyMafia.

What else is there? I still haven’t got a Wii, mainly because I’ve been skint and they are like hens teeth/rocking horse shit/gold dust. I’ll bide my time, wait until Sony release the bloated and, ultimately, doomed PS3, wait for Ninty to drop the price and leap on it like a rabid hound on the stuffed rabbit at the tracks.

While you’re there, download Picasa, it’s Googles photo managment tool (well, they bought the original company and made it better) it’s bloody lovely. Plus $25 (which is about 18p now USA opened up a new front on Somalia, G. Bush Jnr - what a cuntbag.), buys you 6gb for a years photo and video hosting, which, given the ease of uploading those suckers and the features the software and site offer together, is a damn bargain.
