Flickr friend: Tatiana Cardeal
Tatiana Cardeal is one of my favourite photographers on flickr right now. The power and emotion in every single one of her photos makes me stop and I catch my breath. Most of her work is of where she lives, São Paulo, Brasil.
Many of her photos come with a story, each as moving as the last, this photo is of a boy in a library, the library is in an abandoned building and the shelves are stocked with books people have thrown out. Sometime soon, the library will be evicted as the landlord of the property has unpaid taxes - it’s very sad.
